Porting from Any Platform to Any Platform
We bring games to new platforms across the full spectrum — PC to console, console to console, mobile to desktop, and everything in between. Our team handles the complete porting process from initial technical assessment through platform certification and post-launch support. We have deep experience with all major console SDKs (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S) as well as PC storefronts (Steam, GOG, Epic), macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. Each port is built to meet platform-specific performance targets, input conventions and certification requirements. Notable porting projects include Baldur’s Gate 3, Ion Fury, Captain Blood, and Hotline Miami Collection.
Co-development
Our engineers embed directly with client teams to accelerate production. Whether you need additional bandwidth for a crunch period or specialised expertise in a particular area, we integrate seamlessly with your existing workflows and tools. Our co-dev teams typically work with clients over periods ranging from several months to multiple years, contributing to core gameplay systems, engine work, platform-specific features and quality assurance. Long-running co-development engagements include Project Zomboid (3+ years with The Indie Stone) and multiple titles with Larian Studios.
Remastered / Enhanced Versions Development
We develop remastered and enhanced editions of classic and legacy titles. This includes resolution and framerate upgrades, modernised rendering pipelines, improved input and UI for current-generation hardware, and bringing titles to platforms they were never originally designed for. Our work spans everything from subtle enhancements that preserve the original feel to full-scale remasters with rebuilt graphics and systems. Past remaster projects include Metal Wolf Chaos XD (with From Software), Chasm: The Rift and Gigantic: Rampage Edition.
Performance Optimization
We analyse and optimise game performance at every level of the stack — CPU, GPU, memory, loading times and I/O. Our engineers use platform-specific profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and implement targeted fixes. We optimise rendering pipelines, reduce draw calls, improve shader efficiency, streamline asset loading, and tune memory allocation patterns. This is especially critical for Nintendo Switch ports where hardware constraints demand aggressive optimization, and for mobile platforms where battery life and thermal throttling add additional constraints.
Network Implementation (Including Cross-play)
We design and implement multiplayer networking solutions including peer-to-peer and client-server architectures, lobby systems, matchmaking, and cross-platform play. Our team has experience with major networking libraries and frameworks including RakNet, Steam Networking, and platform-native online services. For Project Zomboid, we built a custom Opus-based VoIP solution from the ground up. We handle the complexity of cross-play certification requirements across Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, including platform-specific friend list integration and compliance with each manufacturer’s online policies.
SDK / DRM Integration
We integrate platform SDKs, DRM solutions and storefront APIs into game projects. This covers achievements and trophies, cloud saves, leaderboards, rich presence, DLC management, entitlement checks, and store-specific requirements. We work with Steamworks, GOG Galaxy, Epic Online Services, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Online, and mobile distribution platforms. Our team ensures all integrations meet certification requirements and handle edge cases such as offline play, account linking and license migration.
Tools Development
We build custom development tools and pipelines that improve team productivity and game quality. This includes level editors, asset processing pipelines, automated build and deployment systems, debugging and profiling tools, and content management workflows. Our tools work is tailored to each project’s specific needs — whether that means extending an existing engine’s editor, building standalone utilities, or creating CI/CD pipelines that automate testing across multiple target platforms.
Reverse Engineering
We reverse-engineer legacy codebases, proprietary engines and undocumented systems to enable ports, remasters and continued development. When source code is incomplete, outdated or unavailable, our engineers reconstruct the technical understanding needed to move forward. This includes analysing binary executables, reconstructing asset formats, mapping engine architectures and documenting undocumented APIs. This capability is essential for remastering older titles where original development tools and documentation may no longer exist.
Technical Support and DevOps
We provide ongoing technical support, infrastructure management and DevOps services for game projects. This includes build system maintenance, continuous integration setup, automated testing pipelines, server administration, crash reporting and analytics integration. Our DevOps engineers help teams establish reliable build-deploy-test cycles that catch issues early and reduce the friction of shipping updates across multiple platforms simultaneously.
Consultations and Code Reviews
We offer technical consultations and code reviews for studios planning ports, evaluating middleware options, or seeking expert assessment of their codebase. Our senior engineers provide detailed technical assessments covering performance characteristics, portability risks, architecture recommendations and effort estimates. This service is especially valuable for studios considering a port to a new platform — we can identify potential challenges and provide a realistic scope assessment before any development work begins.
